The Portable DCP Kitemark Approved Fire Extinguisher (BC Dry Powder) is a dependable firefighting solution designed to combat Class B and C fires effectively. It utilizes a Potassium Bicarbonate (PBC) based dry chemical agent, certified to BS EN 3 and approved by Kitemark, ensuring rapid fire knockdown and reliable performance. The extinguisher cylinder complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) and is certified by BSI (2797), while also meeting the Marine Equipment Directive 2014/90/EU (MED) requirements. Finished with high-quality polyester paint, the unit features a brass nickel-plated head valve with a simple squeeze operation and controlled discharge for enhanced safety. A unique gauge testing system is incorporated, along with optional color-coded handles and bases for easy identification. Rechargeable and easy to service, the extinguisher is available in capacities ranging from 4 kg to 12 kg.
